Photo Club

During the COVID-19 pandemic the Photo Club continues to function virtually and, as possible, with field (socially distant) photo trips

The Riverhead Photo Club, which is sponsored by the Friends of the Riverhead Free Library, provides a friendly and supportive environment for photographers of all ability levels to share ideas and knowledge with each other. The club members are friendly and willing to answer questions in an informal and open atmosphere.

Our bi-monthly meetings are held on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. They are currently held via Zoom.

We also aim to promote an interest in photography throughout the community public displays, contests and educational sessions. The club is a member of the Photographic Federation of Long Island (PFLI) as part of a continuing effort to broaden skills and knowledge. Members can participate in monthly PFLI contests.

The club is hosting a virtual exhibit of its members best work during the months of January and February. It can be viewed by going to:

Club information and photos can also be viewed on the club’s webpage: https://riverheadphotoclub.org and its Facebook page “Riverhead Photo Club”.

If you wish to join a meeting or would like more information about the club, please contact either:

New members are always welcome.
