Friends Annual Gala Celebration
50s & 60s Dinner Dance

October 25, 2019 6:00pm to 11:00pm

Honoring Lois & John Eyre

This year’s Friends’ Annual Gala–in addition to entertainment, good food and friendship–will honor Lois and John Eyre for their long support of Friends of the Riverhead Library and its community. Most notably their support of the Musical Arts with their very popular “Piano Plus” series of excellent classical concerts.  Both Lois and John support “rising stars” in the musical arts and have many contacts among former students and classical stars who often come back to Riverhead to perform for the Piano Plus fans.

Entertainment will be Tommy  Sullivan-founding member of the “Brooklyn Bridge.” Tommy Sullivan’s dynamic and unique one-man show, A thousand memories, featuring his vocals and performances on four instruments, has been packing concert auditoriums, nightclubs, private parties–even vineyards-for the past several years. A Charter Inductee to the LI Music Hall of Fame, Tommy Sullivan continues to write, record, arrange and produce records, serve as musical director/ arranger/conductor for projects across many musical genres plus donates dozens of performances annually for numerous charity events.

So come join the Friends and celebrate with us as we recognize the legacy of these wonderful people’s contributions to our community.
